I have one of these, it was my first IIgs, it came in a plain IIe (beige)
case, but I later took out the bottom and put it into an upgraded IIe
(platinum) case.  I then took the little metal plate off and stuck it on the
IIe (platinum) Mine is a Rom-01, so I know they sold some rom-01 iigs
upgrades....
