     That is possible.

     We really do not know anything about the knowledgeable friend. It
seems likely that he/she intended to add information and assumed the GS
was a ROM-01 because he/she does not know there was an earlier "ROM-00"
GS.

     It is possible, too, that the seller meant to over-write the
misleading "What's wrong with this picture?" blurb with the new
information but botched the change.

     Naturally, a ROM-01 is worth more than a ROM-00.

     The add-on information confuses matters because it is not from the
seller. Instead, it is merely quoted as though the seller has not a clue
about the machine being sold and is depending upon "knowledgeable"
information from some stranger.

     It is possible that the machine has had the upgrade or is a ROM-01
board installed in a IIe case. It had better be one or the other because
the add-on info says it is a ROM-01 GS.


     As you imply, it is possible that we a dealing with a collection of
honest errors.
