     Almost certainly, the best way to order is as a student or teacher,
not as a 'regular user'. (Some IC makers-- e.g. Intel-- give away IC's
with manuals to teachers.)  If you are a student or teacher or know
someone who is, you can figure on something like $15-$20 for a new
65C816 from WDC.
