Apple //GS questions

I have a few questions about my apple2gs.  First let me tell you the specs
my current gs is a 1 meg rom03 with a 3.5 inch drive (I know its a pretty
sad setup).  What I was wondering is if I get a SCSI card can I use a SCSI
zip or sparq drive with my gs?  Will I need a special driver or can I just
install it as a hard drive?  Where is the best place to pick up a scsi card
and maybe a memory card?
