Do you have to work hard at being this funny, or is it natural talent? Try
to be serious for a moment, if you can, and listen to what I have to say.

Support for Apple II users has dwindled to almost nothing. There are only a
few places left to purchase new hardware and software. There are even fewer
places to go to discuss things with others who share in this wonderful
hobby. Delphi is one such remaining place. It is the center of the remaining
Apple II world, as much as you may dislike the idea. All of the most
dedicated Apple II users are on Delphi. Most of the remaining developers
also reside on Delphi. Nearly all of the new products for the Apple II come
from the same people you seem to love to insult. Delphi is an exciting place
to be these days, but more importantly, Apple II users can have FUN there.

Just for the record, who exactly on Delphi don't you get along with? Richard
Bennett? Eric Shepherd? Ryan Suenaga? Max Jones? Joe Kohn? Ewen Wannop?
Charlie Hartley? Chuck Stites? Hang Tiem? Cindy Adams? Russell Nielson? Pat
Kern? Jeff Blakeney? Devin Reade? Andrew Roughan? Steve Gozdziewski? Tony
Ward? Dave Miller? Gina Saikin? Tony Diaz? Kirk Mitchell? Michael Hackett?
Peter Watson? Geoff Weiss? Those names were from a quick look at some of the
recent visitors to the A2 Forum (and I hope they forgive me for mentioning
their names in this place). Most Apple II users will recognize at least a
couple of these. I'm sure we'd all like to hear which of these fine people
you think "have lots of experience as pirates" and "covering up their past
misdeeds while attacking new users looking for oldie game software". I know
I missed most of the people on Delphi in that list, so feel free to name
someone not in it.

Now, we should also include csa2 in the list of remaining places to go for
Apple II discussion. Some people think it should be wiped from the face of
the earth, while other people literally wouldn't exist without it. :) Either
way you look at it, any intelligent person can see that a good portion of
csa2 posts are simply flames and lies. Yes, there is still some useful
information here, or I wouldn't bother to read this newsgroup anymore.
Unfortunately, as most people here can tell you, because of the flames and
lies, csa2 is not fun. It's free, you can find information here often
enough, there are lots of people reading posts, but none of that makes this
place fun. If you like it this way, fine. I have no problem with that, and I
won't suggest that people are pirates if they stay here. I know they're
missing out on the chance to enjoy the Apple II, but that's their loss, not
mine.

I've said plenty. Think it over. Enjoy your stay here, Rubywand. As for me,
I'm heading over to Delphi to start having fun again.
