On the contrary, this would tend to increase my enthusiasm for posting to
such a forum. The forum manager actually apologizing for "over zealous"
forum assistants?! That's a humble and respectful thing to do! There aren't
too many places online where people will treat you with respect. It sounds
like the Delphi A2 Forum is one of those rare places.

Oh, and about the "over zealous" part... I think it is more likely that
after a few posts by "SiFan" that were clearly intended to provoke the
Delphi users, upper management decided any (and all) further posts from this
inconsiderate (and uninformed) user should be nuked before things got any
more out of hand. It would seem that after a short amount of time, this
decision was reconsidered. Why? It could have been that management had
decided to let this "SiFan" decide by his actions (or posts, rather) whether
or not he would be permanently locked out of the A2 Forum. In any case, it
would appear that a few "innocent" posts got nuked during this brief period
of indecision. It was proper and polite for the forum manager to apologize
for the nuking of these few posts, but I'm sure the forum manager didn't
apologize for nuking ALL of the posts made by "SiFan". Oh, and this is just
a well-informed "guess" at what happened, since I certainly don't know what
happens and is discussed behind closed doors on Delphi. :)

"Vacuum Areas like A2-Delphi"? "Bozo"? "Staff it with children"? "Screw-up
zone"? I had hoped you were intelligent enough to avoid name-calling and
open insults. Try not to slip again, ok? This is supposed to be a peaceful
and reasonably polite discussion, even though neither of us ever hopes to
convert the other. There are many people who will read our posts, and these
words are simply for their benefit, as you well know. If you must resort to
more name-calling and insults, switch to e-mail. Oh, and if I took your
words the wrong way, I apologize. :) Flamewars seem to start so quickly here
on csa2 that it's best to word your posts in such a way as to leave no doubt
as to your meaning. :) Try to remember that in future posts.

By the way, I'm here on csa2 for the sole purpose of showing csa2 users that
there is a MUCH better alternative. Delphi. I certainly won't avoid it.
