Actually, we didn't buy the rights on the Commodore version... we just
licensed distribution. That took a few months of negotiating with Geoworks'
legal department, at a point in time when the sales were high enough that
they were interested (iow, they saw they could still get some return on the
time invested in hammering out an agreement). They actually offered to
throw in the A2 version at the time, but we weren't interested.

One thought: You might drop a line to Maurice Randall (arca92@delphi.com),
who has recently released Wheels 64 (a GEOS updater that replaces about 70
to 80 percent of the GEOS 2.0 Kernal). I believe he plans to further
migrate his code further to become a 100 percent independant replacement
for GEOS. He might be open to partnering with an A2 programmer on creating
an A2 version.
