not directly.  as i understand it, the reason lies in the mechanics of
the floppy drives for the PC and the Apple Disk ][ (and related
drives)....

your best bet is to connect the Apple //e to the PC via serial
connection, then use a communications program (like ProTerm, which is
available from vendors like Alltech) to transfer the files.

when THAT is done, then you've got to deal with any file format
issues, but if the files are "straight text", then there really
shouldn't be any big problems.  :)
