Seems to be standard practice everywhere else on the web that if somebody
puts up copyrighted material, they would take it off upon notification by
anybody.

Otherwise, the offending site can't claim they had no knowledge that
their activities were not legal, and therefore bringing a lot more
liability into it should the proper copyright holders decide to sue.

It would seem to be common sense, but then again anything is possible..
There's that email virus floating around - called the Gullibility Virus,
for one.
