SQC has a right to publish and an agreement giving us permission to use
the name Appleworks for which we pay royalties to Apple Computer.

I have not read the contract myself though. That's just my understanding
from memory. There is a copyrite by SQC (then Quality Computers). When
Quality was purchased by Scantron, the contractual agreements of the
company were purchased with it.

For the rest of the copyrite info, just check the bottom of the help screen.

Why I think Asimov having appleworks on the site is not going to hurt the
average Apple II business person is that virtually anyone who has a
business that will be run with an Apple II already has it.

The people who still purchase Appleworks today have not heard of the
asimov site, let alone the internet (for the most part) Appleworks is
now such a small part of our business that litigation on such a matter
would not only be an unproductive time waster, but it would be an insane
waste of money.
