Re: Really Dumb question. Solved!



The problem was caused by two separate problems.  1.  Each of my copies
(originals) of System 6 had bad files.  Different bad files, but bad ones.
2. (And this was the *main* reason)  I didn't realize that the partition I
created last was actually SCSI drive 0!  When I looked at the Icon
Information for each of the "drives" I discovered that the one I had labeled
Drive 3, because it was the last partition created, was actually Drive 0.  I
loaded 5.04 on, and it booted up just fine.  Thanks to everyone for all your
help.  Each of you gave me a piece of the puzzle.
