software distribution restrictions?

Hi again.  I'm wondering if there's a list of the current distribution
restrictions on apple // software.  A list of what's freely
distributable and what's not.  Perhaps a list of who holds the copyright
if not freely distributable.  I want to know what's legitimate in case I
come across someone who's handing stuff out or asking me for stuff.
	Here are some particulars that I'm wanting to collect:

Music Studio
Out of This World
Sierra games like Space Quest I & II and Kings Quest
3200 color paint programs
other music-making and graphics software
