You can see a picture from the 1991 ceremony on the page at:

Unfortunately, you can't really see the award. (It was a nice engraved
crystal "platter" standing vertically on a black rectangular base.
Probably a nice lead crystal, and apparently quite opaque to the
airport x-ray, because I had to unpack it for inspection on the trip
home.)

Incidentally, the person behind me in the tux (who hosted the
ceremony) is Matt Deatherage (the of Apple DTS), mentioned upstream.
