LLUCE

andreww@flinet.com Said;

Hello..

It's been awhile since I was last here. Got a note from Steven Lichter
on my AOL account saying he has been looking for me for over a year.

I didn't see any posts from him on any of the comp.sys.apple2.* groups,
so I thought I'd show my face and see what happens.

For those who don't know, I was the principal programmer of LLUCE, the
next generation from ACOS/GBBS.

It's been awhile since I'v done anything with it since nobody has said
anything about it to me in close to 5 years. I do still have my IIGS
though, and now that I have a way to connect it to my PC (through a TV
card), I have a monitor that I can use on it too. (I always used a
monochrome monitor).

Anyway, I hope all's well in the A2 world considering the end of
production. At least some people at Apple are still checking in on
things.

     Andy

Yes I have been looking for you. My sister did a search on AOL for you,
but I had no idea you were in Florida, so I did nothing about it until
another AOL Apple II type said that you had been heard from on AOL a
couple of months ago.

There has been a few threats on GBBS, but it seemed to have gone towards
pirating and find the code on a FTP site, which with the help of a few
people got it removed. It seems that someone; who I have no idea yet said
they owned it and were putting in the publidc doman; when I do find them,
I'm going to make sure that their life is made very short. I'm not
planning on making anything on the program, but just keeping it alive,
there are still systems running it and as long as thre are I'm here.

Sorry to post with this address, but I'm really tired of the
Scammers/Spammers taking my adderess and trying to sell me everything they
can think of or just plean trying to rob me. If you reply use the address
at the end or the one you have in file.
