ccmail and attachments

What is the procedure for a ccmail user to handle attachments. 

I am not an apple user and can not exactly tell what mail software my
correspondance partner has but hope that this is enough information.

Is there a print button for attachments to directly print an, eg.,
pdf-file or does the user have to find the file first and then open
the needed application before printing works.

Thank you for any help or if this is the wrong news groupe please
point me to a correct one.
