Yes.

It depends which slot you install the hard drive. If you install the hard
drive in slot 2 and choose "scan" from the control panel boot slot
option, the GS will first check the 3.5" floppy drive and if there is no
disk in the drive, it will boot the hard disk (typical Wintel behavior).
If you install the hard drive in slot 7, the hard drive always gets
booted. If you want to boot from the floppy drive, just launch
BASIC.SYSTEM and do a PR#5...

Mostly DOS 3.3 programs have the problem. You can launch
AW5.1 by clicking the startup file...or even the PRODOS file on the
AW5.1 disk...
