why not? i'm planning to use my Linux box to connect to the 'Net via
PPP, then i can use a serial connection (via null-modem) and maybe
SnowTerm (yes, it's registered to ME!) to connect to the Linux box.

depends. if you've only got Windows on there, you're stuck. much as
M$ likes to TELL people that 95/98 and NT are multi-user machines,
only one user can use it at a time. there's a way around that, but it
involves buying software from somebody ELSE, and i hear it costs a
pretty penny.... ....until the "next version" of NT.... (yeah,
RIGHT!)
