Re: Asimov pirates AppleWorks 5, kills AppleWorks 5.2/6.0!
If scantron truly want's the software removed, they can submit a copy of the
legal document proving that they currently hold the copyright to the asimov
administrators, and I am POSITIVE that the admins would remove the software.
Who are these "secret investors" in AW 5.2/6.0. And since either of them should
promise a major features upgrade, why would anyone want 5.0 anyway?
The bottom line is that if the copyright holder want's it removed, all they
have to do is submit PROOF to the admin. If the admin doesn't respond, applying
pressure (a simple small claims suit against the asimov owner) should expedite
matters.
The cost of filing a small claims suit varies from state to state/ county to
county, but it is usually never more than $50.00+ your time. No lawyers. If the
person FTA's, you win by default, and get compensation for immediate damage
(compensatory damages are not awarded by default).
