As in "Limited Edition IIgs", which has a "Woz" signature screen-printed
on the lid. The first few thousand IIgses made had this (most estimates
put it at ten thousand, but I'm not aware of any conclusive evidence).
They were all originally ROM 00 machines, but many will have been
upgraded to ROM 01. You can't get any IIgs older than these machines
(except pre-release ones, and I've never heard of any such machine being
publicly available).
Does that explain the various cryptic references in LJSILICON's article?
