Re: a2 dead? read this.

Nathan...think on this on. A year and a half back - you had a link to Asimov
from your own FAQs and web site. It's gone now but you, I and many others
remember it being there.

As to Rubywand refering somebody to an AW II image file
on Asimov, that's no proof he's a pirate. Many people suggest to others to get
this or that from Asimov and you don't label them as pirates. I can find
nothing anywhere in which Rubywand suggest that people upload anything remotely
resembling the AppleWorks v5 and 5.1 stuff, the
other TO's (that some nutcase DID up load to Asimov), it was not me nor
Rubywand and neither me or Rubywand would begin to endorse such actions or
uploads to Asimov.

The sad truth is - they are there on Asimov and I don't know who uloaded them
there. I wish I did, I'd hunt the scumbag uploader of those files down and
demand that Apple Computer, Inc. (the copyright holder of the program now)
procecute the uploader to the fullest extent possible.

I did my damnest to get Patrick to remove them, to help Bev with her project
efforts, as soon as she made me aware of their presents on Asimov. (If you
doubt this then ask Bev. She can fill you in on all the details Nathan!

Patrick refused to remove them, as I urged him to and my friendly relations
with him are now severed and I have no respect for him either. I ask him to
remove ProTerm 3.1 also and he refused. He stated they would remain until the
copyright holders requested they be removed.

I now consider Asimov to have many harmful contents
that need to be removed now. I will upload legal stuff there if requested by
the authors of their programs, as image files. I did this today. And, I have
no problems with most all of the other stuff on Asimov either. If you and
others want to consider this as a double standard by me - then fine do so! I
could care less.

But, I urge all Apple II users - who care about the continued presents of both
ProTerm v3.1, the multitude of AW v5, 5.1, the TO's and related stuff that
remains on Asimov as disk images - to contact the copyright holders and ask
them to demand the removal of these files from Asimov. That's the only way
they will ever be removed!

again, I say to you Nathan and everybody else - If you consider this attitude
of my as a double standard towards Asimov - then so be it. If you want to
label me as a pirate for something I did years ago and don't do now, then
that's fine to. I really don't care what you label me as Nathan. I await your
comments on this one Mr. Mates. And, I'm sure you'll have a dandy reply to
make too!

Cheers,
Tom
