: Sure. There won't be an AppleWorks 5.2, and there won't be an AppleWorks 6.0.

--> I'm sorry to hear that. I wonder, though - if the `original'
program (the one you mention as being pirated) author could
be contacted - would there be the possibility of having it
reclassified as shareware/freeware? If so, then perhaps
something could be developed, using the newly reclassified
software as the basis/launching point for whatever `new'
development you mentioned? I'd think you weren't refering to
the AppleWorks program itself; when you mentioned the
pirated software - but rather to some sort of add-on as per
your speciality? Not meaning to pry, nor interested - just
wondering about the reclassification aspect. The Treasure
Chest site/philosophy and ongoing reclassification attempts
    is a great idea. Like I said, I don't know the details;
it's just an idea to `clear-up' the piracy problem you
alluded to. You do great work, Beverly (I have a disk of
yours somewhere in my 'puter room, that I purchased from
Kingwood{?} many, many, moons ago) and I'd hate to see the
A2 community (what's left of it) lose out on something
new from your creative skills; if there was some way to
    `rescue' it.
