To Bill Scheffler, concerning freeware that's NOT free:
Paying to get freeware or to be a beta tester is insane.
It's the insane action of an insane group of Apple II paranoid people, who
often don't know that others outside
of their clickee little circle could care less about their conflict of
statements. Their demands for this and that to allow you to have something
that is a freeware, is about;
ego, power, control and self-centered desires of false importance. It's
completely self-defeating and devoid of any logic.
This attitude and concept didn't work when the CSA2 FAQs were held hostage,
didn't work with TurkeyShootGS and it's not going to work with Twilight 2.0 or
anything else either.
Nathan and his vogon clan of parinoid, hate festering, control freaks - make
these sort of demands just to
attempt to put hardships on anybody that's not a payed subscriber to Delphi.
And, they base their restrictions on MY and others continued presents in the A2
community as the reason for their doing this.
If these are just, fair and sane actions, then It's a sad state of reality in
A2land. In closing, allow me to make it
clear that freeware classified as such - will be made available to all for free
by public access - to all without
restrictions and without concern for unjustified payment,
to get freeware. The vogons can take that anyway they
want. Personally, I don't care what they think any more.
Cheers,
Tom
