     That's something I have not heard before. The Koala Pad works on
our IIc+ running 8-bit 816-paint; but, it has not been tried on the
IIgs. This should not be too much bother ...

     Okay; the Koala Pad was plugged into the standard GS Game port
(using a 16-pin to 9-pin adapter).  8-bit 816-Paint was booted, DHR
Paint started, and "Touch Pad" selected from then menu for the input
device. I tried a number of tools, including Fill, did some drawing with
different colors, and loaded a DHR pic. Koala Pad works fine. Perhaps
you are thinking of some other kind of pad?
