My odds of 50-50 is the mode, not the rule. I have had problems
downloading Marnetti until I found Netscape 2.02. For some reason,
Netscape 2.02 on a Macintosh handles downloading via HTTP correctly.
Mosaic also does it right. The only Apple II gopher site I know of is
Caltech's. There are two ways to download using Netscape.

1. Find the file, click on it, and let the garbage on the screen finish
loading. Then go to the file menu and choose "save as". Usually you want
to choose "text" but sometimes source works as well.

2. Use the option-click (or control on a windows machine) to save the
file.

In short, the same way you do an FTP download. I can't help you with
Internet explorer, because when I have that available, I also have Fetch
and Netscape 2.02 available, which makes it unnecessary.

Also, The Windows '95 machine is the machine that 'AHML Patron' used to
post his messages. The Windows 3.1 machine is the computers my colledge
has hooked up to the internet, so I can't do any alterations on the
preferences without losing internet privleges.
