Need fixing filetypes

 I had a hard drive crash recently.  I was able to recover most of my stuff

 using ProSel, but some files and directories are still screwed up.

 The file types have become "unknown" and some indicate that I do not

 have access privledges to open them when I try using the finder.

 I have considered that maybe changing the file type might help,

 but I do not know the correct file type to make it.

 I know txt for text files, but what is it for directories?

 (ie E0 for shrinkit files and BAS for basic programs)

 Can anyone help.




PS I need filetype and aux type.
