 Speak for yourself. I don't own a Mac, don't like using them, and

 Microsoft is only trying to do what Apple has always done-- run the OS
with
 an iron fist. If it was Apple that had 90% of the market, the DOJ would
be
 busting them. Heck, they would have done it long before now. Apple has
a
 long history of being a monopoly-wannabe. It was Apple's monopolistic
 behavior that handed the market to IBM in the first place.

     Not really-- in fact, pretty much the opposite. Had Apple been
willing to offer low end A2 machines to battle C-64/128 and separate-KB
higher-end A2 models to battle PC and, in general, directed its efforts
toward owning the home market, it could easily have been where PC is now
by 1987.

     Instead of building its power base, Apple chose to ignore it and
pursue short-term high profits via a 68xxx-based Mac and other such
ventures.
