Since they own the trademark, they can put it on whatever software they
like...

My question is...will Apple's history web site call the "real" Appleworks
part of the line of evolution?  Or will they keep trying to distance
themselves from the Apple II?

It makes sense to keep the history complete...AWGS is not the "real"
Appleworks either if you think about it, so it makes perfect sense to
throw former Clarisworks in the boat IF the "real" AppleWorks is not
thrown OUT of the boat...
