I looked in my PrintShop GS manual, and I think I found the statement
that has caused your confusion. On page 6, under the section "Starting
the Program" there is a note that says Print Shop will run under ProDOS
16 if your gs has 768K of memory. What they are really trying to say is
that if your gs has 768K of memory, you can LAUNCH PrintShop from the
program launcher in ProDOS 16, or in your case, from GSOS. This is to be
compared to if you only had 512K, in which case you would have to reboot
the computer to start PrintShop. It still RUNS under ProDOS 8, because
that is just how it is written. There is no software switch in it that
turns on 16-bit disk operating system when you have X amount of memory.
They didn't choose their words very wisely, and ended up giving the
wrong impression on this point. Your PrintShop GS is operating the same
as everyone else's is.
