For the AE GS Ram + card, versions A and B are not DMA compatible,
while versions D and E are DMA compatible. With four or less megs,
the D and E versions are fully DMA compatible. With more than four
megs, some operations will cause slowdowns (those that use more than
four megs of memory?). The only drawback is speed, not
functionality.
