I can see your problems already. Go to http://www.allelec.com/ Alltech
Electronics, click on "Apple II" then "Hard Drives" and get a Focus
hard drive which has System 6.0.1 preinstalled. With the HFS FST
installed, you can format, read, and write standard Macintosh 3.5"
floppy disks that can be read on both a Mac and a IIGS. Also, the
freewares and sharewares on the Focus drive includes GS Shrinkit,
which you can use to unpack your downloaded files...

You need GS Shrinking ON THE APPLE IIGS to unpack these...

IF you get a Focus drive (starting at $50) from Alltech with System
6.0.1 and the HFS FST installed, the IIGS will be able to read the
Macintosh HFS (standard) DS/DD 800k formatted disks. Just put
the .shk files on a regular DS/DD Mac disk, take them to the IIGS,
and run them through GS Shrinkit which comes with the Focus drive.
You'll have unpacked ready to run programs!

GS Shrinkit...ON THE APPLE IIGS!
