Good; you have 1/2 of the hardware needed to make the GS a
usable system. The second half is a hard disk drive.

That's not Finder 1.1, it is Apple II Desktop 1.1, a fake Finder
that Apple shipped with the GS in 1986 because the REAL
Finder was not yet written. It is really a IIe program...setting
the RAM disk or ROM disk in the control panel to some sizes
will crash this old program.
It usually crashes while quitting one way or another if you
have any number of newer hardware installed.
Get the REAL GS/OS and the REAL Finder will avoid all this.

More like a problem with newer hardware and the OLD fake
Finder...

I recommend getting System 6.0.1, the latest system software
for the GS. If you buy the Focus hard drive, an IDE hard drive
on a card from Alltech Electronics http://www.allelec.com/
(starts at about $50 U.S. dollars), Alltech has System 6.0.1
preinstalled with many freewares and sharewares. A good buy
and it will solve all your problems.
You need System 6.0.1 to run any new GS software, so it is
worth it!
