Asimov sucks, so why fight over it?

I think the fighting over Asimov is kinda funny because the stuff
on Asimov sucks!  That stuff pales in comparison to the legitimate
freewares and sharewares on the huge ground ftp server and even
on the caltech server.  The only use of Asimov seems to be to
pander to the emulator crowd.  There is nothing wrong with emus,
but I find it disturbing that real Apple II users think that the .DSK
images on the Asimov server is the only A2 software around.

If you don't have a real A2, the Asimov site might look like an
easy way to stuff A2 stuff onto the fake wannabe A2, but for users
of real A2s, check out ground and caltech...you won't look twice
at Asimov after!

I hope Marc Searl will release his GameBoy emulator that runs
ON the GS so that we GS users too can join in on the fun and
cause a jihad on copyrighted GameBoy software images on the
alt.gamez.gamboy newsgroup.  ;-)

Asimov...what a joke!  If AppeWorks 5.1 or Spectrum shows up
on that site, contact me to join the opposition, but until then,
why bother...the stuff on Asimov sucks!
