I see the source of your confusion. Jef Raskin created the Mac project and Jobs
did not take it over till it looked like it was going somewhere. Jef and crew
visited friends and collegues at PARK and vice-versa long before the infamous
Jobs visit. Jefs GUI work was hardly unknown as it was referenced in other
papers in 69 and 70 and shared with some who later worked at PARK. Just keep in
mind that everyone at Apple and most who have met him refer to Jobs as
traveling in a reality distortion field.
Can you belive Jobs? He did a LOT of Acid as a teenager and started by selling
illegal "blue boxes" for ripping off long distance charges.
