That's a novel idea!  All the slotted A2s since the II+ had this port,
so it is ideal.  Would additional hardware be needed?  Or can the
interface be a simple cable from the 16-pin Game port to the 1571?

It's fun to have the Commodore drives working on an A2.  The
drives can do all kinds of tricks.  There was a Spartan II+ emulator
by Mimic Systems of Vancouver in the early 1980 to 1986 time
period.  It was a II+ clone box that plugged into the C64's ports.
The 1541 drive could be modified to read and write A2 disks...
