     Thanks for the correction. A quick check of the RS and GE portable
cassette recorders we used shows that there isn't any place _but_ the
"mic" input to send the signal! (The 'Line Input' stuff must have come
from memories of using Jim Butterfield's "HyperTape" to record KIM stuff
on the Sony reel-to-reel.)

     We've still got a box of cassettes with notations like that-- sort
of the 'ultimate backup'!
