The DB15 connector is there because the high end models of Laser 128
could use GS analog monitors as well as CGA digital ones.  The CGA
monitors required an adapter cable (GS monitor plugs right in).

They built the monitors, but they are CGA monitors.  Try an AppleColor
RGB if you can find one.  On the high end models, the colors look much
better.  For the CGA monitor, you will need a DB15 to DB9 adapter.
I don't know how to build one, but it may be in Nathan's FAQ.
