IIGS keyboard

Hello,

A while back a friend was given an ex elementary school 
Apple IIGS along with a box of software , monochrome monitor,
joystick, and an IBM keyboard wired to a DB9 male connector 
with pins 6 to 9 removed.  

After posting to this group for help I was informed that Apple and 
IBM keyboards were incompatible and that the IIGS could use a 
Mac Keyboard. Eventually a surplus Mac keyboard as found & sent over.

Some time later I was called to set up the system, it was then that 
I found no RJ11 keyboard jack anywhere on the IIGS.

Removing the motherboard for examination turned up the following:

1. Board labels indicating it was an Apple IIGS, Made in Singapore 
in 1988.

2.The mainboard has a set of pads labelled J13, keyboard , and a 
second set of pads labelled numeric keypad but I haven't been able to 
find J13.  Pads for the joystick,etc. are all clearly labelled 
and got to actual connectors to the outside world.

3. The only installed card is an Applied Engineering memory 
expansion card.

4. Network connectors on the mainboard.

After re-assembly I was able to get the computer running with the 
mouse only but there doesn't appear to be a keyboard connector 
anywhere.  (The DB9 is a joystick connector.)

The start up screen indicated ROM5.


Does anyone have any technical information on which mainboard pad 
goes to which pin on the RJ11 (Mac Keyboard) jack I'm thinking of 
installing on this thing?
