   What programs are you using to reformat the drive? If using a
RamFAST/SCSI card, hold down the '0' key on numeric keypad at poweron
to enter builtin setup program and repartition the drive. [Warning:
Macs blindly require that driver partition, so if you delete it,
forget any chances of being able to mount it on a mac. That may or may
not be a good thing in your opinion] Advanced Disk Utils should also
be able to repartition the drive if using an Apple SCSI board; for
some of the best control, see the CMS SCSI programs available for
download off http://www.allelec.com
