Re: 3.5 inch disk drive for IIgs (apple brand) - Not working properly! Help!

Any tips any one on correcting a 3.5 inch drive problem?

The only suspect I have on the drive itself is it looks the the IIgs battery
is dead.  Which results in the IIgs control panel (open-apple-esc) not
saving properly and being reset manually everytime I boot up.  Could a dead
battery be the culprit in making the 3.5 drive act funny?
