SAM = Software Automated Mouth, or something like that, by Don't Ask
Software. I have one from way back. Effectively, it's an 8-bit mono
sound card, with speech synthesis software. Drop me a line if you want
the software. However, to do much, you really need the manual, which
is a little harder to supply.

BTW, in case you didn't figure it out, the wire with the plug on the end
plugs into the motherboard speaker connector to redirect sound through
the card, and the single bare wire goes to an external speaker.
