TextEdit is merely an Apple-supplied toolset to assist in editing
text, and forms the basis for a number of word processors, but it's
the application or NDA which must do the printing. What programs are
you using? Next, what System Software version, and have you used
Apple's installer to correctly install all the files for that printer?
Finally, using the graphical control panels, go to the 'DC Pinter'
(DC=direct connect, not a form of electrical transmission) and make
sure that the correct printer is selected.
