HC icon burglary

Is there a way to snag icons out of Hypercard stacks?
 
I would like to expand an icon library for use with Hyperstudio for
class projects.
 
Actually, HS will read icons out of HC stacks, but that is much less
convenient that storing icons in a single file.
 
I tried P. Elseth's Icon Ed, but it doesn't open HC icons. Does anyone know
what will & will also allow me to add/save them to an icon file?
