Apple Hard drive gone?

I have a IIgs with 6.0.1 and a hard drive, an Apple 3.5 in drive and an Apple
5.25 in drive. For no reason I can figure, the 3.5 in drive has disappeard from
the icon list, and I can't access it.

I do notice that when bootin, the light on the drive briefly flashes.

Any thoughts?
