Calendar Crafter question

Does anyone have a veriosn of Calendar Crafter that can be installed on
a hard drive?
 
Our district has a license with Mecc so we can make as many copies as
we like, but the version they provide is mapped to slot 5.
 
Did later versions stop this? Maybe there are "improved" versions by
skilled users? I ccan think of some nice class porjetcs we can do, but
they would be 10x faster and easier if the program was on our hard drives.
