If I remember right setting up Kermit 65 wasn't too hard, but I think that it
assumes that the modem is in slot 2 using a super serial card. Also check to
see that the DIPs are set, and you can see what the baud is by the dip
settings.
The other thing I remember is that the 1st command is ATE1 to turn the echo on
so that you can see the commands and the responses. BUT, it's been a long time
since I used Kermit 65. A better way to go is ProTerm with a lot of up to date
features that work fine on the IIe - vt100, auto dialing, macros, decent down &
up loads.
