And you're forgetting rule #2: Self-admitted pirates, drug users,
etc have no case when others quote those words back at them. And given
Turkey's insane documented rants online (he *still* hasn't admitted
the "5D sound" issue is nothing more than nonsensical technobabble,
for example), you'd need to find a lawyer more insane than Turley to
even begin to take the case.
Bottom line: if turkey even begins to deliver on the vaporsuits he
promises like no tomorrow, he'll be laughed out of court with all the
proof of just how much of a nutball and just as bad a flamer that he
really is. And that's rule #3 that turkey violates: make sure you're
not guilty of the same thing in flaming, and that you're
spotless. With 4 accounts closed this year alone by the respective
sysadmins due to piracy, that certainly doesn't apply. Sorry, he has no
winnable case whatsoever.
Though, as I've said before, it would be fun to see Turkey on the
stand trying to prove his "5D sound" is anything less than delusional
rantings of a drug-addled madman. Heck, I'd sell tickets and try to
make sure a videotape of that made it out to America's Funniest Home
Videos and all other shows with people making fools of themselves.
The best solution for Turley is to just follow his many promises to
leave for good, and JUST DO IT. No announcements, no nothing. Just
cancel all your accounts and walk away from it all. That way, he can
leave knowing a few suckers still think he's a nice person without
even more evidence and public embarassment of him.
Just keep your promises and go away, Turley. Simple as that.
