Name this card ...

Hi, all.

I recently purchased some Apple //e stuff in an attempt recapture my
youth. One of the machines I bought came with a strange card inside it
that I cant identify and maybe someone here can help.

It's a smidgen larger than a SSC with no connector for a cable. The
most distinctive marking is the following:

CORVUS SYSTEMS INC
TRANSPORTER APPLE
8010-10987 REV C

There is one jumper and a red light in the upper left corner and one
set of 8 DIP switches in the middle near the top.

Any ideas? Is this card useful?

Another question: Can I put more than one SSC in an Apple //e?
