It's a lot less work rewriting the BIOS than it is to rewrite the
Toolbox routines.

Consider:  the BIOS does very simple tasks, while the Toolbox manages
the GUI.  That's one HECK of a difference when it comes to reverse
engineering and rewriting.

Let's see, that's a difference of about 4K to 8MB... an increase of
roughly 2000%.
