Help-controlling who can save and where
Hi All;
I have a problem;
Background info
Currently, I have a IIGs with system 6.0.x and it boots up using the
startboot init, into AppleWorks IIGs.
The system has a hard disk with 4 partitions. The 4th partition is for
data/work. I have a directory called dads.stuff, for my fathers work.
I have several files in dads.stuff, that are tempplates (files that have
information that does not change, but needs some additions) these are
locked, so to change the file, you need to save as...
Prolbem
My problem is, my father, keeps forgetting how to locate, open, close
and save as... So his files end up all over the place, if Iam not there
to help him.
Is there a way, I can get AppleWorks IIGs to automatically open to
dads.stuff, a way to prevent him from saving stuff anywhere else and a
way to provide automatic help?
Any help will be welcomed and I thank the group for their time.
This system is set this way as my father uses it for reports and
correspondence.
