You'd still need a display and a battery (or other power supply).

But there really isn't much point to going much past 30Mb (32Mb, to be
precise) because of the limitations of ProDOS-8.  If you get into multiple
partitions on SmartPort, things could get very messy in terms of slot
mappings.  But for a portable machine, 32Mb ought to be plenty...remember,
we're talking about an 8-bit machine here, not a GS.  And odds are pretty
good that installing an internal HD on a //c would require giving up
either the internal floppy drive or (my preferrence) the memory expansion
card.  My thought is to use the space under the keyboard; that means no
memory expansion, which limits the machine to 128k.
